I have a phone interview for that position at the YMCA that I wrote about last week. I am trying not to get my hopes up, I tend to do that. What I don't understand, why is it a phone interview? I mean, I live here in town. I've only had to do phone interviews when it was for a position out of town. Oh well, be thinking about me Friday at 6:00 pm (strange time, I know).

Nicole, when I was in a position where I hired and fired, I would ALWAYS set up phone interviews first. Depending on the position, the persons over the phone skills are quite important. Also you can really get a sense about the person as well, just in general.
Enough to know if you even want to meet them in person.
Good luck Nicole! I hope it works out for you!
That happens here too. Our people have to be able to talk on the phone, some people can't.
Good luck, and I guess that rules Friday out, but they'll be other times, and you definitely need this.
Good luck, Nicole!!!!! :0)
Eh, not really sure. Guess it didn't go very well. If it had I am sure I would have heard something by now.
I'm sorry ;-(
If that is the case then it just wasn't meant to be for ya. I know the feeling. I am still struggling myself. Good Luck
