I've been thinking...

Scary, I know.

A lot of my friends met their spouse/SO after being "set up" by other friends. I've never been "set up" by anyone. I kind of wonder what that means.

What do my friends think of me if they've never been willing to set me up with one of their other friends, or their spouse/SO's friends.

Huh.

maybe let some of your friends know you're totally up for the idea and ready to date again? i bet someone knows someone else they'd like to introduce you to.

I'm the same way Nicole... I don't take it personally. And most tell me the same thing that Steph told you! :o)

Since my divorce, I've met most of my girlfriends through friends. But only once through being "set up". Most of the time, the people setting me up got it SO WRONG, it was comical. I met most girlfriends simply by going to parties - birthday parties, dinner parties, block parties, BBQs. I'd meet a single woman there and pursue her. And later my friends would say "we NEVER would have set you two up. But now that you're dating, we totally see why."

So, my advice - go to lots of parties. Every invite you get, say yes.

And yes, the parties I went to were generally thrown by my married friends.
